# AI finish replacement

> This feature lets you transform a space’s wall, floor, and main wall finishes into materials of your choice from a single photo, replace even the windows and doors, and then create a finished image with rendering. I’ve explained every button step by step.
>

## **Before you start**

* What you need — 1 photo of the space whose finish you want to change (an indoor photo with the walls and floor clearly visible is recommended).
* Credit — You can check your available credit and language in the top-right corner of the screen.
* How to access — From the left menu, select AI Product Change → AI Finish Change.

## **Screen overview**

The AI Finish Change screen is broadly divided into three areas.

* **① Left panel** — Image, specified areas (wall/floor · main wall), applied products, and space scale settings
* **② Center canvas** — Preview area where you can see the material-applied result in real time
* **③ Right panel** — Switch between 3D edit mode / rendering mode, material and window/door product list (search by product name)

## **STEP 1. Upload a space image**

Please upload a photo of the space whose finish you want to change.

* **Select image** — Choose a file from your computer and upload it
* **Import from mobile** — Load a photo taken on your phone right away

The supported formats and size limits are as follows.

In this example, we used a kitchen photo with windows.

## **STEP 2. Set up 3D image (define areas)**

After upload, \[3D image setup] starts. Once AI recognizes the surfaces in the space, it defines the areas where the finish will be changed.

### **① Define wall, floor, and areas**

AI automatically recognizes the wall, floor, and main wall. You can select areas such as Wall 1 and Wall 2 on the right, and recognized areas are color-coded.

If recognition is inaccurate, you can refine it manually with the \[selection tools].

* **Face selection** — Click a divided face to select it
* **Drag** — Drag across the screen to define an area
* **Polygon** — Connect points to define the shape you want
* **Free draw** — Define freely as if drawing by hand
* **Add area / Exclude area** — Switch when expanding the selected range or removing part of it

### **② Define the main wall area**

In spaces with furniture, such as kitchens, the main wall is divided into upper cabinets, lower cabinets, countertops, and more. If you define each element separately, you can apply different materials to each one. When finished, move on to \[Next step].

### **③ Adjust space size**

After defining the main wall, you’ll move on to \[Space size adjustment]. Match the AI-recognized reference lengths (for example, wall 1 width 2170mm, ceiling height 2237mm) to the actual dimensions, then click \[Apply]. If you enter the measured dimensions, the texture and pattern of the material will be shown at the actual scale, resulting in a more realistic output.

## **STEP 3. Apply finish materials**

Select a material from the product list on the right, and it will be applied immediately to the specified area. You can check wall, floor, and main wall materials separately under \[Applied products] on the left.

Countertops and other items can be browsed by category. (e.g., Stone → White Quartz · Carrara Marble · Black Granite)

While applying materials, you can undo or save the current screen using the controls at the bottom of the center canvas.

## **STEP 4. Change windows and doors**

Unlike replacing finish materials (color and texture), windows and doors can have their shape and design changed.

1. Select the area containing the window or door.
2. Based on the actual size of the selected window or door, matching window/door libraries are shown (for example, Folding Windows).
3. Choose the desired window/door shape and design, and the window/door in that location will be replaced.

## **STEP 5. Re-edit areas and space size (optional)**

Even after applying materials and windows/doors, you can readjust the specified areas and space size in the left panel. You only need to refine the parts that look unnatural.

### **Edit area**

Use this when you want to modify an area you already defined.

When you edit an area, all previously applied finishes will be removed, and you must apply them again according to the changed area. Be careful when editing after applying many materials.

### **Re-adjust space size**

The space size adjusted in Step 2 can be changed again at any time, even after applying it. Clicking \[Adjust size] in the left panel (shortcut M) reopens the same size adjustment screen from Step 2, allowing you to correct and apply the actual dimensions.

## **STEP 6. Rendering**

Once the finishes and windows/doors are applied, switch to \[Rendering mode] in the upper-right corner. There are two ways to set the mood.

* **Select preset** — Choose a mood from Basic / Morning / Afternoon / Evening / Night
* **Prompt input** — Describe the mood you want in a sentence, such as 'warm spring sunlight at 5 PM'

After choosing the method you want, click \[Generate image] to start rendering.

## **STEP 7. Finish and save**

A realistic image will be completed shortly. Check the result and save it.

**Before-and-after comparison** — Click the comparison button at the bottom left of the finished screen to switch between the original photo (before) and the result with finishes, windows/doors, and rendering applied (after). It’s useful for showing customers exactly what changed and how.

There are two ways to save.

1. Save the finished image directly
2. Scan the QR code to save directly to your mobile device

When it’s done, a generation complete notification also appears at the top.
