# August 2026 Update

August was **mobile and tablet**a month focused on them.

Over the month, the floor plan editor, ceiling editor, parametric editor, map service, and consultation/estimate management were moved one by one into a touch environment. Now, on site, you can draw floor plans and revise estimates with just a tablet.

The estimate and consultation side also took a lot of work. Estimate sheets can be exported to CSV and XML, consultations registered to a company can be viewed on one page, and customer information is automatically linked to consultations. The AI Agent also automatically corrects blurry floor plan photos, and now it can **draw floor plans from text alone.**

The August update is broadly divided into five areas.

**① Full mobile and tablet support**

**② Estimate and consultation management**

**③ Archisketch AI Agent**

**④ Editor and parametric**

**⑤ Dashboard, credits, and more**

### 1. Full mobile and tablet support

#### Use the editor with your fingers

We refined the editor screen and controls so that key editing functions can be used on mobile and tablet as well.

At the beginning of August, the floor plan editor, parametric editor, first-person view, and architecture/material editor were added first; in mid-month, the tile editor, space partition editor, finish material editor, render studio, and gallery followed; and in late month, the ceiling editor (Surface Designer) was added.

On mobile, the left panel becomes a bottom panel adjustable in three levels, and 2D/3D switching, zoom in/out, and capture are used from the right remote control. It supports both fingers and Apple Pencil, and reliably distinguishes tap, drag, one-finger pan, and two-finger zoom. Product placement, drawing walls and rooms, applying finishes, and first-person movement were also adapted for touch.

#### The ceiling editor is also drawn with touch

We newly added a mobile-only header and tool area, library bottom sheet, and properties panel to the ceiling editor. The tools and editing logic are unified with the desktop version so that **the workflow is the same no matter which device you open it on.**

For finger editing **Drag to draw**and **Long press to open menu**have been added. You can draw lines and areas directly by hand, and deletion, chamfering, and molding replacement that previously worked only via right-click now also work by touch. We added a **tool guide**so that `Escape` you can confirm or cancel an action and exit drawing mode without the key.

#### Create projects and manage consultations on mobile

Mobile **My Projects** You can create a new project on the screen. At the top **New Project** When you tap the card, it switches to full screen and you can choose between **Find My Home, Floor Plan Editor, and Recommended Templates** and **View More Templates**to filter by space type as well. We also added a button in the project details header that takes you straight to the editor.

We also made it possible to manage consultations and customers on mobile. In the consultation list, you can find consultations with search and status filters, and create them, change status, link/unlink projects, and delete. In consultation details, **the same Excel-format estimate sheet as on PC**can be viewed and edited, and estimate sheets can be exported to Excel, CSV, and XML.

#### The map service has also been adapted to fit the screen

On PC, it is a fixed left panel; on mobile, it is **a floating search bar over the map and a draggable bottom panel**for searching floor plans. The mobile bottom panel can be adjusted in three states: collapsed, half-open, and full screen.

### 2. Estimate and consultation management

#### Exports estimate sheets to CSV and XML

On the estimate sheet detail page in consultation management, data entered in the sheet template can be **exported to CSV or XML.** Choose the format you want to download and it can be used right away for external system integration or data management.

![Export estimate sheets to CSV/XML](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-6d325bbb33962d8306af9bd7e37c0d731740d8f6%2F202608_README-6.png?alt=media)

#### All company consultations in one place

A page has been added where you can view all consultations registered to a company. **All Consultation Management** You can search by title, customer name, person in charge, and status, and detailed viewing and status changes work the same as in the existing consultation list.

We also improved search on the consultation management page. It now searches consultation title and customer name at the same time, and we added a status filter and a company-wide consultation view. The company-wide consultation view is visible only to users with permission.

![Company-wide consultation management page](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-93d43b07d54a1e0dfdc437f686d4f169537ea5e1%2F202608_README-7.png?alt=media)

#### Customer information is linked with consultations

We connected consultation details and customer management so they share the same customer information. When you search for an existing customer in the customer name field in consultation details and link it, **phone number, email, address, detailed address, and memo**are automatically filled in. People with the same name are distinguished by the phone number shown alongside them.

If there is no customer you want, **Add new customer information**register it directly. In this case, the customer management screen opens in a new tab, so you don't have to worry about losing the consultation content you were working on.

When creating, editing, or deleting a consultation, or when customer information changes, the related screens are updated immediately. If an ENEX order is missing the customer's phone number, it will notify you before sending.

#### We unified the formula input tools into one

We integrated formula input for quotations and parameters into a **shared input tool**into one. You can validate formulas even on screens with empty values, and it also supports autocomplete, error messages, and calculation result previews.

The estimate sheet table management screen now separates displayed columns and hidden columns. We also fixed modal clipping, empty template states, column order, and screen overflow issues.

### 3. Archisketch AI Agent

#### AI corrects blurry floor plan photos

Low-quality floor plan photos used to fail during 3D conversion. Now the AI Agent checks the uploaded image state first and, if needed, applies correction before trying the conversion.

#### Creates floor plans from text alone

You don't need a floor plan file. If you type the desired room shape or furniture arrangement conditions as text in the AI Agent chat window (for example, "Draw a 20-pyeong apartment floor plan with 2 rooms"), it creates a floor plan image according to the description and then proceeds to 3D conversion.

![AI Agent floor plan generation](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-110acecc8474b60cb46fc93fb66a661cf40edec5%2F202608_README-9.gif?alt=media)

#### File attachments are now easier

We improved file attachment, clipboard paste, and drag-and-drop behavior in the agent input field.

***

### 4. Editor and parametric

#### Fixed the BOM circular reference error

If there is a circular reference in a part BOM `Maximum call stack size exceeded` We fixed the issue where the editor and viewer would close due to an error. Now, if there is a circular reference or a missing part, **skip only that section** and open the part.

We also added a pre-check to prevent new circular references from being created when adding, replacing, or drag-and-dropping parts. For parts that already have circular references saved, the editor explains the issue, and if it can be resolved, `delete and save`you can delete the incorrect BOM relationship immediately

![with](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-7bdb9ee8d1343b5a45135bd090c760ec71871390%2F202608_README-10.png?alt=media)

#### BOM circular reference guide

Ceiling editor editing error cleanup **We fixed the issue where dividing lines into areas did not create partitions, and** expanded the touch detection range for auxiliary lines

to make them easier to pick up with your fingers. We removed the non-functioning indirect lighting tool from the toolbar, and also fixed an issue where placement mode did not end after applying molding or finish materials.

#### We also cleaned up the UI for narrow screens. We fixed issues where the step height input value wrapped into two lines, the zoom button jumped to the center of the canvas, or the mobile molding library was cut off, and we do not show the minimap on small screens because it covered most of the display.

* **Other improvements**Added bounding box property to snap export
* **: Bounding box information is included in snap export/import for more accurate copying.**Public floor plan project transfer

***

### : Public floor plans can be imported into projects/sessions, and targets can be selected more easily in the editing tools.

#### 5. Dashboard, credits, and more

Help points directly at the screen **We changed the old method where tapping Help would open old videos or images in a separate modal to**a step-by-step tutorial that directly points out features on the screen `1 / 3` Each step has a title and description, and a spotlight is turned on for the UI being explained, while progress is shown as numbers instead of dots.

Added to the **14 pages**that didn't have help before. This includes orders, customers, project settings, trash, template creation, floor plan creation/editing/review, home, AI furniture upload, and more. For floor plans, the guidance that previously ended on the list screen now continues through the creation, editing, and review stages.

![Step-by-step tutorial](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-2e61a3ce3c8e2a20c799d4c6d41e45a654fce5d6%2F202608_README-11.png?alt=media)

#### Map search results are more user-friendly

In floor plan search results that previously showed only the building name, **building image, number of floor plans owned, and address**are now displayed together. You can find the building you want faster.

![Building list UI](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-bfed9f331c5fd9dbc9db388f1cc682fad18f799c%2F202608_README-12.png?alt=media)

#### Library convenience features

* **Automatic link to 3D volume for finishes**: The 3D volume value of the finish material is automatically entered into the sales specification, and sales information is separated into its own section.
* **Distinguish part thumbnail sources**: You can now tell in the screen whether a part thumbnail was auto-generated or uploaded manually.
* **Real-time reflection of AI furniture generation status**: In the personal library, the AI furniture generation status and preview image are updated in real time.
* **Resize and collapse shared project folder tree**: You can adjust or collapse the folder tree size in shared projects.

#### Credit information

* **Auto-sync subscription credits**: Unpaid subscription credits are automatically granted when you log in.
* **Automatic conversion of unconverted points**: Starting August 20, points that had not been converted were automatically converted into credits.
* **AI Agent trial credits**: To let you try the new floor plan creation feature first, we give 1 credit per account, once. In the guide modal on the AI Agent page, the **\[Get Trial Credit]** button grants it immediately, the event runs until 26.09.10, and the credit you receive expires after 30 days.

August was a month focused on taking the tools we used only at the desk out into the field.

One by one, we've moved things so you can open floor plans and refine estimates on a single tablet in stores, on site, and in the car while moving. 😊

There's still work left to do. Please try opening it on a tablet today, and let us know if anything gets in your way.

We'll come back next month with an even more convenient experience.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.archisketch.com/guide/intro-en/update-note/2026/202608.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
