# July 2026 Update

This July, **the quotation has been changed to a freely editable Excel-like format**and the steps for creating a quote have also become noticeably shorter.

In the floor plan editor, **curved walls** and **touch device support**have been added, and the parametric (modular) editor **edit multiple parts at once**and **drag and place**capabilities were added too, making work much faster.

The July update is broadly divided into five areas.

**1. Quotes · Consultations**

**2. Floor Plan Editor**

**3. Modular (Parametric)**

**4. Library · Dashboard · Account**

**5. AI · Credits · Others**

***

### 1. Quotes · Consultations

### The quotation has been changed to look like Excel

The quotation detail page has been revamped into an Excel-like format.

You can directly edit each cell's item and value, and depending on how the company operates, it can also be provided as a read-only quotation with editing disabled. At the same time, the flow for creating a quote has also been shortened.

Previously, you had to go through a real-time quotation → create quote → enter consultation info → detail page flow, but now you go straight from the real-time quotation to an Excel- or Google Sheets-style detail page.

#### Turn only the sections you need on and off

You can set the visibility and order of the furniture, finish, and other sections shown in the quotation by company.

Hide unused sections, and drag the sections you need into the order you want, and it will apply to all quotations for that company.

The default order is Furniture → Finishes → Others, and to create a quotation **at least one section must be visible**.

#### Seller information is automatically included in the quotation

The seller information of the logged-in user (person in charge, phone number, email, store name, and address) is shown at the top of the real-time quotation.

It is filled in based on the information registered in the account's 'My Info,' and is also reflected as-is in PDF and Excel downloaded documents.

#### Handle consultations on a single screen without popups

The consultation creation and editing flow has been simplified.

Previously, when you pressed the create button, a separate input window appeared, but now a consultation is created right away with only the basic information and you move to the detail page. Consultation name, progress status, dealer code, budget, space size, expected installation/delivery date, and notes **can all be checked and edited on one detail page without popups**.

### 2. Floor Plan Editor

#### Draw walls with smooth curves

A curved wall feature has been added that lets you turn straight walls into curved shapes.

By adjusting how much they curve, you can design a variety of shapes such as stadium-like spaces or spaces with rounded ends.

For stable room and floor generation, only outwardly convex shapes are currently supported. **Draw Floor Plan > Draw Curved Wall**, or on the created wall's **\[Wall Details] · right-click menu**you can switch it there.

![](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-6eb7a791d47ea3f64fdac4c052e8d907885c7c82%2F202607_README-5.png?alt=media)

#### Convenient even on tablets and electronic whiteboards

The touch controls in the floor plan editor have been significantly improved.

Walls, rooms, columns, and guide lines **touch drag**can now be drawn by touch drag, and while drawing, canvas movement is blocked for greater stability. The snap range has also been widened for more accurate placement, and 2D products are placed at the center of the canvas while 3D products are placed at the center of the camera view. It supports not only tablets and mobile devices, but also electronic whiteboards.

#### Customize shortcuts to suit me

A shortcut settings feature has been added that lets you change keys to whatever you want.

The shortcut menus that were scattered around have been consolidated into one place, where you can check and set them by category: common, 2D editor, 3D viewer, and render. If you enter a key you already use, it will tell you whether it's duplicated. The shortcuts you set can be exported to and imported from a JSON file. (Settings > Shortcuts)

#### Make announcements easier to read

We cleaned up the floor plan editor announcement UI.

The title and content are arranged so they can be seen at a glance, new and existing notices are easy to distinguish, and the size you choose with the large view/small view buttons is kept the next time you visit.

'Don't show again today' has been moved to the top.

### 3. Modular (Parametric)

#### Component classification into three levels: large, medium, and small

Component classification has been reorganized into a large, medium, and small category system.

When creating a category, instead of a data type, you choose from a fixed list of major component categories, and on the component detail page you can also check the current classification and save in the order of major → medium → small. You don't have to go all the way down to the small category, and you can stop at a higher-level category; the behavior and settings of existing components remain unchanged.

![](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-f5373b99b1675ddc1c237515d30694cb038f0fa9%2F202607_README-8.png?alt=media)

#### Edit multiple components at once

You can select and edit multiple child components at the same time in the component tree and 3D viewer.

You can select multiple items with Shift, Ctrl, or Cmd clicks, and in the 3D viewer you can select components inside an area all at once with Shift + drag. If you select two or more, the right panel switches to batch edit mode, where you can apply alias, reference information, parameters, position, rotation, symmetry, and hide conditions all at once. Copy/paste and undo (Cmd/Ctrl+Z) are also supported.

![](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-08eac80220ff4ac45e8c9a27cad7b468da809404%2F202607_README-9.png?alt=media)

#### Drag and attach components

You can drag items from the component library into the 3D screen and place them as child components of a parametric product. When you drag, the product's **bounding box is shown as a six-sided box**and the face under the mouse is highlighted so you can preview the placement. If you drop it on the face you want, it will be automatically aligned to the center of that face.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-f54190ecc2bd7a45fe1c245c9c7ee61f3f1ecd56%2F202607_README-10.gif?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Copy variables and move them to another component

The root component's basic, custom, and internal variables can be **copied and pasted**.

If you copy the variable list with the export button and paste it into another component with import, the format is checked automatically and items with duplicate names or reserved names are excluded, while the number added or excluded is shown.

#### Chamfer for cutting corners at an angle

At the vertices of the panel shape editor **Chamfer option**has been added.

In addition to the existing fillet (rounding), you can choose None, Fillet, or Chamfer. If you enter a distance, both sides will be cut at an angle by the specified amount. It applies to both panel outlines and hole corners, and is reflected equally in the 2D editor, 3D view, and floor plan export.

#### Share the parametric viewer through various channels

We improved sharing and embedding for the parametric viewer. In addition to the existing link sharing and embed options, you can now share directly via text message, email, Naver, Kakao, and X, and the share/embed modal UI has also been refreshed.

![](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-9058c55bb65a78fd933700270dfbe375d3870969%2F202607_README-12.png?alt=media)

### 4. Library · Dashboard · Account

#### Finish material upload has been unified

We unified the finish material upload process, which had been split into regular upload and expert upload.

Not just material information, but also **product information such as selling price, sales unit, and installable area**can now be entered together, so we also updated the detail page.

![](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-716d61285bfca7a9a916dcbdb63420d13f772136%2F202607_README-13.png?alt=media)

#### Add detailed information to accounts

In account management, **enter and manage detailed information by category and user**.

You can register email, contact number, address, postal code, and store code for categories, and contact number, address, postal code, and store code for user accounts. Address search is provided depending on the language (Daum for Korean / Google overseas).

![](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-31aa86c00667c19f1207e3dae972b0242875d9b2%2F202607_README-14.png?alt=media)

#### Adjust the category folder width

Category **Directly adjust the width of the folder side area**.

If you drag the right border, you can expand or shrink it within the 200px to 480px range, and the adjusted width is saved so it stays the same when you come back. Folder and category names are shown up to two lines depending on the width, and overflow is truncated with ellipses.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2FP1YKHY9SzBCqgKDJylSG%2F%E1%84%8F%E1%85%A1%E1%84%90%E1%85%A6%E1%84%80%E1%85%A9%E1%84%85%E1%85%B5.gif?alt=media&amp;token=49590392-0b1f-42c7-b9d5-d8fe3101e018" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Browse products in card or list view

Card view and list view have been added to the product library. Card view is convenient when skimming visually, while list view is better for comparing information, and the same view options can also be used in the parametric sales panel.

### 5. AI · Credits · Others

#### Talk with Archisketch Agent by voice

You can now talk with Archisketch Agent by voice as well. When you ask by voice, the Agent understands, handles the request, and then speaks the answer back to you, so you can use it comfortably without typing.

![](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-2160c98b3e3657ef7c1e269cf591ec3b4ab23592%2F202607_README-16.png?alt=media)

#### Points have been consolidated into credits

The old 'points' have disappeared and the new '**credits**' have been merged.

AI Agent credits are deducted according to token usage, and AI snapshots and render shots are also deducted as credits. Users who previously had points or credits need to click 'Approve credit conversion' to keep using it smoothly.

![](https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-a89b0735d42f18456c0f37284f65f5b801875588%2F202607_README-17.png?alt=media)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.archisketch.com/guide/intro-en/update-note/2026/202607.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
