# \[2026.10.02] Added modular production information·automatic hole placement and improved library tag filters

## 1. Dashboard

### (Improved) Start page screen improvements

We refined the layout of the Start page.

### (Improved) Product Excel upload error guidance and tag input improvements

If an error occurs while uploading a product Excel file, **you can immediately see which row failed and why.** Until now, even a single incorrect value would cause the entire upload to fail, making it hard to know the cause. Now, errors with the same cause are grouped together, and you’re shown which rows need to be fixed.

The tag input rules have also changed. `ZARA HOME`such as **tags with spaces**can be used, and when separating tags, Japanese `、`, Chinese `，`punctuation is also recognized in addition to commas. The `・`used in the middle of Japanese words is not treated as a separator and is kept as is.

We also fixed an issue where, if saving product information failed, the editing screen would close first, so the reason could not be known. Now, even if saving fails, the editing screen stays open and the reason for the failure is shown. You can also separately check whether product information or communication data was not saved.

## 2. Editor

### (Improved) Separate export file formats

Exports are now separated by glTF, SKP, and FBX formats, so files export faster and use less memory.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2FQ1q46eI2XPCJMGmytMqZ%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=b91cfadc-4920-4cab-9ce2-3c59873261b2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### (Improved) Furniture/finish tag display and filter features added in the editor

In the editor library, **you can see the tags attached to furniture and finishes, and filter by tags to find them** You can. Tags are shown on product cards and in detailed information, and if there are many tags, only a few are shown while the rest are collapsed into a count.

**Tag group filter**has also been added. Within the same group, you can select multiple tags, and combine them with conditions from other groups to narrow down the products you want. Tags that do not belong to a group are `Other` group. Sorting, brand, and tag filters can also be used in top-level folders, and the selected conditions remain unchanged even when you move to another folder.

## 3. Parametric Editor

### (New) Support for switching between design and production information modes

In the modular editor, **you can move back and forth between the design screen and the production information screen** and work. The production information screen is `Panel / Processing / Transfer inspection`divided into sections, and you can view the production status of each panel along with drilling, hardware, groove, and edge finish information in one place.

When you select a panel, it is highlighted immediately in the 3D view. **You can turn on only the items you want to see among drilling, hardware, groove, and edge finish** and check them together with the design results.

{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

### (Improved) Added pre-production inspection and production rules features

to modular inspection, **production rule inspection**has been added. When checking variables/formulas, component configuration, dimensions, panel shape, and component overlap, the production conditions you registered yourself are also checked.

Production rules can be **Error / Warning / Confirmation** divided into three levels, and created by combining conditions such as panel role, thickness, part name, and reference name. When you click an issue item, the corresponding part is shown immediately in 3D, so you can fix it and check again.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2FO7jQAveDNrKFgqPMl9hr%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=5caf5f95-92a2-4a59-aeee-89ed3ec382a2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### (New) Added hardware and machining settings feature

A **hardware and machining settings**feature for managing furniture production standards in one place has been added. `The settings are divided into three areas:` drilling / groove size adjustment / finish material dimension adjustment.

In the drilling area, **drilling configuration, drilling patterns, and hardware**are managed, and which pattern and hardware to use on which panel is determined by panel size. The panels to which it applies can be specified by role or name.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2FFKnQMqcRQY9MNcvrTujL%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=454c4428-bdbc-4a4b-814d-d92ae21cdfd6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### (New) Support for automatic drilling placement based on panel size

If drilling configurations are set in advance, **drilling is automatically placed according to panel size and conditions** . By specifying the number of holes, hardware, pattern, and start/end margins for each panel size range, drilling positions are created exactly as set.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2FEWHHB9mmt1paRMI9d8bJ%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=1b2ecf80-58b3-4db9-bbbd-91bceee99173" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The drilling settings screen includes **a real-time preview**. You can decide the hole array direction, row position, and placement 기준 while looking at the diagram, and immediately check the number of holes, spacing, and the position of the first and last hole.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2FlGEQbxzmZtSLMIvEKv62%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=5da9a657-e089-4e50-9ea5-879290166a55" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### (New) Added groove compensation 기준 and edge finish settings

We added **groove compensation standards and finish standards**to manage the production dimensions affected by grooves and edge finishes.

In the groove compensation standards, you set the panels to apply them to and the compensation values for groove width, length, and depth. In the production information screen, **the originally drawn dimensions and the actual production dimensions**can be viewed together.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2FJCRCyCoRhstrkrYBAunu%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=dc71c0f1-d937-4354-b888-29cfa68af480" alt=""><figcaption><p>groove compensation standards</p></figcaption></figure>

In the finish standards, you set the finish type and thickness, as well as additional allowance, for each panel edge. The applied finish is **distinguished by color by type in 3D**, and the actual cutting dimensions reflecting the finish thickness are also calculated automatically.

<figure><img src="https://2613077494-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMWuDtKHjyUXqBIf7Q6Zw%2Fuploads%2FnckZbkPjecHs68koo1HZ%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=edd7d4d5-8877-4c0c-a4d2-8c98a0cdb701" alt=""><figcaption><p>finish standards</p></figcaption></figure>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.archisketch.com/guide/intro-en/update-note/2026/202610/2026.10.02.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
