# Edit Furniture Information

You can edit the information of uploaded furniture.

## Difference between product / group / component

### Product

**Definition**

* A product can be a single component or a set made up of multiple products.

**Features**

* If it is a set product, multiple products make up one **group**are composed of.
* Even if you edit the product **component**is not automatically edited.

**Example**

* Single product: "Desk A"
* Set product: "Desk Set A (Desk + Bookshelf + Chair)"

### component

**Definition**

* Components are the individual elements that make up a product.

**Features**

* The component name is generally **product name**the same as.
* Even if you edit the product, the components must be edited separately.

**Example**

* Product: "Desk Set A"
* Components: "Desk", "Bookshelf", "Chair"

### group

**Definition**

* A group is a set that bundles multiple products according to specific criteria.

**Features**

* The group's criteria vary (e.g., color, type, etc.).
* When editing the group **component**it is not affected.

**Example**

* Color-based group: "Red Collection (Red Desk, Red Chair)"
* Type-based group: "Desk Set (Desk, Chair)"

**Key summary**

* **Product**: Single component or set.
* **component**: Individual elements that make up a product.
* **group**: A set that groups multiple products by specific criteria.

**Important points when editing**

* **Edit product**: Even if you edit the product, the changes are not applied to that product's components.
* **Edit group**: Even if you edit the group, the components included in the group must be edited separately.

### Organize by example

**Example 1)**

Product name (group name) : **Alex Desk Set** / Classification criteria (option criteria) : `Type`

Product name (group name) : **Aki Fabric Sofa** / Classification criteria (option criteria) : `Color`

## Edit basic information

Basic information is the same as product information.

**product name**

* Default: The product name entered when first uploaded.
* Add translation values: You can add other languages. (English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese)

**Brand**

* You can select from existing brands.
* To add a brand that doesn't exist, first add the brand in \[Company Library] → \[Brand Management].

**Product Purchase Link**

* This is a link associated with the product.

**Tags**

* If you set tags, the product will be found when you search for that tag in the editor.

**Product code**

* If you set a product code, it will be easy to search by product code in the dashboard.

**Product currency**

* Stores the product's currency.
* Applied as the unit for product pricing.

**Creation Date**

* You can see the product's initial upload date and time.

**Modification Date**

* You can see the last date and time the information was edited, such as product edits, category edits, and name edits.

**Notes when editing the product name**: If you edit the default value, the Korean translation value is also automatically linked and changed, but if you edit the Korean value, the link with the default value is broken.

### Edit category

**Step 1. Enter category editing**

There are two ways to change a product's category.

* **Product list**: In the upper-right of the product thumbnail **\[...] button**click → **\[Edit category]** Select the button
* **Product detail page**: In the detail page **\[Category → Edit]** Click the button

**Step 2. Select category location**

1. **Category list**appears, and you can check the currently set category at the top.
2. Use the checkbox to **the location you want to display**select it.
   1. You can turn off the current location, or select multiple categories if multiple exposure is needed.
3. **Category after editing**is displayed at the bottom of the list.

### Bulk category change

You can also change the category of multiple products at once.

1. Select the products to change multiple.
2. In the top menu, click \[Bulk edit → Edit category].
3. Select the desired location with the checkbox.

The current category location is not preserved. It will be moved anew to the location selected with the checkbox.

### Product group

On the detail page, product groups can be checked in two places.

* **Using the product group's toggle button**: Press the toggle to check the components currently included and the group criteria.
* **Right-side list**: Clicking a component lets you view that component's details.

#### Edit option information

1. When you click the \[Edit] button, the option information edit window appears.
2. You can edit the following items.
   * Classification criteria
   * Option name
3. Please review the changes and complete saving.

## Edit product information

You can edit component information.

Thumbnail image management, 3D model check, and entering the AR viewer can all be checked and managed here.

1. **Check thumbnail**: When you upload a product, thumbnails taken from six angles are automatically provided by default.
2. **Change thumbnail**: You can replace the product thumbnail by uploading an image yourself.
   1. If you want to apply a thumbnail from a different angle, use the thumbnail download function to download the desired image, then upload a new image to replace the thumbnail.
3. **Download Thumbnail**: The currently selected thumbnail will be downloaded in PNG format.

4. **Check 3D modeling**

When you enter the effector, you can edit the product's material and size.

* **Change furniture size**
  1. Click the top layer in the layer panel at the top right. (Select all)
     1. Individual size editing is not possible; it can only be changed overall.
  2. If you proceed in the order \[Save] → \[OK] → \[Exit], furniture upload begins.
     1. While rendering is in progress, the product will not be searchable or visible in the editor.

* **Change furniture material**
  * If you click the material area directly in the viewer or click the layer section in the right layer panel, the \[Material] tab becomes active.
  * After modifying the material, click \[Save] to start furniture re-rendering.

5. **Change 3D modeling**:
   1. This function lets you replace the modeling file while keeping the product information intact.
   2. Only zip file format is supported.
