# Edit furniture information

You can edit the information for uploaded furniture.

## Difference between product / group / component

### Product

**Definition**

* A product can be a single component or a set of multiple products.

**Feature**

* In the case of a set product, multiple products make up one **group**.
* Even if you edit the product, **component**is not automatically edited.

**Example**

* Single product: "Desk A"
* Set product: "Desk Set A (Desk + Bookshelf + Chair)"

### component

**Definition**

* A component is an individual element that makes up a product.

**Feature**

* The name of a component is usually **product name**the same as.
* Even if you edit the product, the component must be edited separately.

**Example**

* Product: "Desk Set A"
* Component: "Desk", "Bookshelf", "Chair"

### group

**Definition**

* A group is a set that bundles multiple products according to a specific criterion.

**Feature**

* The criteria for a group can vary (e.g., color, type, etc.).
* When the group is edited **component**it is not affected.

**Example**

* Color-based group: "Red Collection (Red Desk, Red Chair)"
* Type-based group: "Desk Set (Desk, Chair)"

**Key summary**

* **Product**: Single component or set.
* **component**: Individual elements that make up a product.
* **group**: A set that bundles multiple products by a specific criterion.

**Important points when editing**

* **Edit product**: Even if you edit the product, changes are not applied to the components of that product.
* **Edit group**: Even if you edit the group, the components included in the group must be edited separately.

### Organized by example

**Example 1)**

Product name (group name) : **Alex Desk Set** / Classification criterion (option criterion) : `Type`

## Edit basic information

The basic information is the same as the product information.

**product name**

* Default: the product name entered at the time of the initial upload.
* Add translation values: You can add other languages. (English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese)

**Brand**

* You can select from existing brands.
* To add a brand that doesn't exist, first add the brand in \[Enterprise Library] → \[Brand Management].

**Product Purchase Link**

* A link that is connected to the product.

**Tag**

* If you set tags, the product will be found when searching for the tag in the editor.

**Product code**

* If you set a product code, you can easily search by product code in the dashboard.

**Product currency**

* Stores the product's currency.
* Applied as the product's price unit.

**Created Date**

* You can see the initial upload date and time of the product.

**Modified Date**

* You can see the last time information was edited, such as product edits, category edits, and name edits.

**Precautions when editing the product name**: If you edit the default value, the Korean translation value is automatically linked and changed as well, but if you edit the Korean, the link to the default value is broken.

### Edit category

**Step 1. Enter category edit**

There are two ways to change the product category.

* **Product list**: On the upper right of the product thumbnail **\[...] button**click → **\[Edit category]** button
* **Product detail page**: In the detail page **\[Category → Edit]** click button

**Step 2. Select category location**

1. **Category list**appears, and the currently set category can be checked at the top.
2. Using the checkbox **location you want to display**select.
   1. You can turn off the current location or select multiple categories if multiple exposure is needed.
3. **Edited category**is displayed at the bottom of the list.

### Bulk category change

You can also change the categories of multiple products at once.

1. Select multiple products to change.
2. Click \[Bulk edit → Edit category] in the top menu.
3. Select the desired location with the checkbox.

The current category location is not preserved. It will be newly moved to the location selected with the checkbox.

### Product group

Product groups can be checked in two places on the detail page.

* **Using the toggle button for product groups**: Press the toggle to check the currently included components and group criteria.
* **Right list**: Click a component to view the details of that component.

#### Edit option information

1. Press the \[Edit] button to open the option information edit window.
2. The following items can be edited.
   * Classification criterion
   * Option name
3. Check the edited contents and complete saving.

## Edit product information

You can edit component information.

Thumbnail image management, 3D modeling check, and AR viewer access can all be checked and managed here.

1. **Check thumbnail**: When you upload a product, thumbnails of the product shot from 6 different angles are provided automatically by default.
2. **Change thumbnail**: You can replace the product thumbnail by uploading an image yourself.
   1. If you want to apply a thumbnail from a different angle, use the thumbnail download function to download the desired image, then upload a new image to replace the thumbnail.
3. **Download Thumbnail**: The currently selected thumbnail will be downloaded in PNG format.

4. **Check 3D modeling**

When entering the effector, you can edit the product's material and size.

* **Change furniture size**
  1. Click the top layer in the layer window at the upper right. (Select all)
     1. Individual size editing is not possible; only overall changes are possible.
  2. If you proceed in the order \[Save] → \[OK] → \[Exit], furniture upload will begin.
     1. While rendering is in progress, the product will not be searchable or visible in the editor.

* **Change furniture material**
  * Click the material area directly in the viewer or click the layer area in the layer window on the right to activate the \[Material] tab.
  * After editing the material, clicking \[Save] will start furniture re-rendering.

5. **Change 3D modeling**:
   1. A feature that allows you to replace the modeling file while preserving product information.
   2. Only zip file format is supported.
